Spaceship Earth’s Cavemen

Like any dark ride photographer I love ride stops and was fortunate enough to have one in this difficult scene that lasted nearly 10 minutes. Unfortunately that only helps so much when the animatronics and even the wall paintings are almost constantly moving. So what I ended up doing was shooting a long exposure at a much lower iso than usual possible then shooting several higher iso (but still lower than a normal ride through) for the moving parts and then combined it all in post. I think it all turned out pretty well. The only thing I would have done different is done another set focus stacked for the front cavemen. As they say though, hindsight is 20/20. Enjoy.
