I was getting the itch to work on some more Disneyland shots and this one stood out to me while scrolling through my library. I ended up using 3 shots for the final edit of this photo, with the 2 extras being used exclusively for the upper half of Sleeping Beauty castle. These 2 photos I color balanced different from my base layer to get the rich pink color that is appropriate to how it looks in person. I see a lot of photos of Sleeping Beauty castle with blown out highlights or washed out color but it’s easy to control if you take the time to get a shot specifically for the upper half, edit it separately, and then mask in to your base layer.
