The UK Pavilion really has some great ambiance. The way it is lit creates a great intertwine of light and shadow that makes for a lot of interest. Enjoy.
A pretty classic composition but I always like to grab this shot if I have time. The dreamlights add a nice twist and I always love the glow on the compass rose. I spent quite a bit of time dodging and burning this one to try and set the mood just right and in the end I think this is my favorite I’ve done of this shot.
I must say I really enjoyed putting an emphasis on using the Nikon 70-200 2.8 on this past trip. I love the ability to compress spaces with it and using it to think up different compositions and shots. Enjoy.
I love Beauty and the Beast, it’s easily my favorite Disney movie. Therefore I also love Be Our Guest restaurant, the best themed restaurant on property in my opinion. I just wish it were a little easier to get a reservation for. For purely selfish reasons I wish they’d build a Frozen restaurant in the Magic Kingdom so it would drop the demand here. Oh well, at least I finally got a couple decent pics of the inside entrance. Enjoy.
Happy Fireworks Friday everyone. Here’s another shot of Illuminations from Italy. Still pretty excited I actually got to shoot from here and the more I look at these shots the more I like this spot. The foreground interest is really nice and its a great perspective for the fireworks. I would have loved to actually had 2 cameras for this as I shot without an ND this time with the 14-24. Would have liked to see some of the results with an ND and some longer exposures. Hopefully next time. Have a great weekend everyone!
So this is the first year of the new decorations on Main Street USA and I must say I think its an improvement. Keeping the view of the Castle unobstructed is a huge plus in my opinion and the more subtle decoration adds just the right touch of color to the scene. Enjoy.
I’ve taken probably more pics of the China pavilion than any other pavilion in the World Showcase probably 2 fold. Hence the title “China Again”. What keeps me coming back is the many different angles you can shoot the temple from. And each one has great foreground interest. You’ve got lush greenery, interesting rocks and boulders, the beautiful reflecting ponds. It makes it really hard to go wrong no matter what angle you shoot from. Enjoy.
I’ve done several shots in the Germany pavilion now but never one looking head on at the horseman. I think it’s an interesting angle and the flowers at the bottom help frame the scene nicely. As for the title of the photo, I think it’s kinda funny, though accurate.
P.S. Don’t forget my Lightroom presets are on sale for $2.99 through the end of the year at https://www.thetimethespace.com/shop
This is always a fun shot to get if you have time, but add in the moon and how can you not stop to take it? The Dreamlights really help put the icing on the photo here, and lucky for me, this was the first night they were lit and just after the lighting ceremony! Talk about perfect timing.
I came here to shoot the waterfalls but on the approach this shot caught my eye. Looking through the trees to the waterfall as the light beamed down reminded me of something out of a fairytale.
